If the objectives touch a slide, it will damage it, making it harder to observe the object you are viewing in the microscope.

Why cant the coarse adjustment knob be used on high power lenses?

The coarse adjustment knob is used for making major changes to the focus, and is therefore too inaccurate to use at high powers, where only a very fine adjustment can drastically change the clarity of the picture you see.

What is something you cant see touch or feel but you can hear it?

Sound. Sound waves are vibrations that travel through a medium such as air and can be heard by our ears.

How accurately can you tell the temperature of an object by touch?

Touch is subjective and can vary from person to person, making it unreliable for accurately determining the temperature of an object. Factors such as skin sensitivity, environmental conditions, and prior contact with different temperatures can influence how an object feels to the touch. For specific temperature measurements, it is best to use a thermometer.

What direction would move your slide if an object is on the left and you want to move to the center?

Well, I was going to ask what the hell this is even supposed to mean in response to this question, but it turns out that that wouldn't be a reasonable "Answer" to the question, so I'm going to go ahead and make a statement to "answer" this confusing and illogical question: This is a stupid question. B:The image as seen under the microscope moves in the direction opposite to the direction of the slide. Therefore, if an object is on the left and you want to move it to the center(that is to the apparent left) move the slide to the left.If an object is on the left of a slide, when it is under a microscope, and you want to center it......... Move it to the right. If it is on the left, and you want it centered,....... move it to the left. If you cant see it, change the magnification.
