In case of reflection phenomenon rays have to fall on the surface. So if we stand on the side of the mirror rays emanating from our body could not fall the mirror surface and hence no reflection.
Mirrors work by reflecting light that strikes their surface. When light hits the mirror, it bounces off at the same angle it comes in, allowing you to see the reflection of yourself. This reflection appears as if you are looking at yourself from the other side of the mirror.
In a plane mirror, the image appears laterally inverted because the light rays reflect off the mirror and create a virtual image that appears to be on the opposite side of the mirror. This is why our left side appears as the right side in a mirror reflection.
In a convex mirror, the focus point is located behind the mirror, on the same side as the object. In a concave mirror, the focus point is located in front of the mirror, on the opposite side of the object.
A one-way mirror, also known as a two-way mirror, is a special type of mirror that allows light to pass through from one side while reflecting light on the other side. This creates the illusion of transparency on one side and reflection on the other. The side with more light will see through the mirror, while the side with less light will see only their reflection. This effect is achieved by controlling the amount of light on each side of the mirror.
A two-way mirror is designed to allow one side to be reflective like a regular mirror, while the other side is transparent, allowing people on one side to see through it. To test if a mirror is a two-way mirror, you can place your fingertip on the surface - if there is a gap between your finger and its reflection, it may be a two-way mirror.
Replacing the side mirror will cost approximately $200. You can save is much as $125 by replacing the mirror yourself.

I'd personally leave it to a professional, but if you insist on doing it yourself, just remove the screws holding it in, remove the electrical wires carefully, then connect wires to new side mirror and install the new one exactly the opposite of how you un-installed the defected side view mirror.
the opposite side youre on.
You have 2 choices, you can pay an astronomical cost (around 600 for the drivers side mirror alone w/o installation) or you can buy replacement glass and glue it in yourself.

The best way to give yourself a Mohawk is if you have a barber's mirror. This mirror allows you to be able to see every angle of your hair while cutting it. If you don't have one you will have start and stop and check to make sure each side is even.
