Because the turns are so tight that if the track was flat they wouldn't be able to corner w/o some serious braking. With an inclined track they can keep going. The straights are inclined just to make the transitions smoother. The force in use here is Centrifugal force and is widely used.

What are the forces acting on us when you go down a helter-skelter on the outside?

When going down a helter-skelter on the outside, the main forces acting on you are gravity pulling you down towards the center of the Earth and the normal force pushing against the slide to keep you on the curved track. Friction also plays a role in helping you move along the slide without slipping off.

Why is a train that is traveling on a curved track at a constant speed accelerating?

We all grew up thinking "acceleration" means "speeding up". It doesn't."Acceleration" means the speed or the direction is changing. So if a moving object is speeding up, slowing down, or keeping a constant speedon a path that's curving or bending, then there's acceleration going on.

When an object moves around the circular track the centripetal force is provided by?

In an automobile, the friction force of the tires allows the vehicle to follow a circular course, because the friction, or grip, of the tires resists the sideways, or outward force known as centrifugal force. In free space, an orbiting body has gravity acting to provide the centripedal force.

What is sweeping bend?

A sweeping bend is a gradual curve or change in direction in a road or track that allows vehicles to navigate smoothly without sharp turns or disruptions in speed. This design feature is often seen in highways, racetracks, and cycling routes to improve traffic flow and safety.
