There are many factors that determine the direction that waves take. Out in deep water, wind and surface currents affect the direction of waves. When you get closer to the coast the shape and contour of the earth's surface affects the wave's direction more.

As a wave becomes shallow it slows down. If the wave is at an angle to the shallow part of the shore, the wave bends and becomes more parallel to the beach. Also most beaches are not actually straight, they curve so there are parts of the wave that are parallel to the shore.

Explain how both kinds of reflection obey the law of reflection?

The angle of reflection equals the angle of incidence. In regular reflection, parallel rays strike are reflected from smooth surface at the same angle in diffuse reflection, parallel rays strike and are reflected from a bumpy surface at different angles.

What angle form when two line parallel?

No angle is formed. That's what parallel means.

Why is angle of incidence is parallel to angle of reflection?

It is not!

Are the sides of an acute angle always parallel?

Sides in any angle can't be parallel. Lines intersect to form an angle.

Can parallel raysform an angle?

No.

What is a paralel angle?

Angles are considered parallel when their angle measures are the same. These angles are parallel because they are both 180*.

Can parallel lines form an angle?

no, its in the definition of parallel lines. they never touch and therefore can never form an angle.

How many parallel lines does a right angle have?

A right angle has no parallel lines, but it does have perpendicular lines that meet at right angles.

What is the angle formed between two parallel lines?

An angle is formed where two lines meet. Parallel lines do not meet. Therefore they do not form an angle. So there is no angle to have a name. So no name.

Do parallel lines meet at a right angle?

No, parallel lines do not meet at a right angle. In theory, parallel lines never meet. In practice, parallel lines on earth could meet at the North Pole and/or the South Pole. Perpendicular lines meet at a right angle.

Can parallel lines form a angle?

no

What does it mean when an angle is parallel to another angle?

it means that the world is in your hands
