What is charmatograhy paper? Just kidding! I assume you mean chromatography paper. Well, the answer to your question lies in the solubility of the different colour dyes. The more soluble the dye the faster it will travel across the paper. Also, some substances react better with the paper but I'm not sure that is the right answer.
The paper is made of cellulose, a polar substance, and the compounds within the mixture travel farther if they are non-polar. More polar substances bond with the cellulose paper more quickly, and therefore do not travel as far. found on <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatography>
Chromatography is a way of separating solutions. In schools dyes are usually used to illustrate this. Most dyes are actually solutions of different coloured chemicals. The colours are the solute particles. They are attracted by the solvent particles and the chromotography paper. Each solute is attracted by a different amount. When the colour is separated by chromotography the solutes which are held strongest by the solvent travel the furthest whereas the solutes that are held the strongest by the paper travel the least.
White reflects more light than any other colour, while black absorbs more light than any other color. To get technical, photons that are not absorbed by the paper will bounce off (be reflected by) the paper and make it appear lighter or white. Short answer: because most paper is white.
the black colour absorbs all the colour and reflects nothing.this is why it appears black in colour. :) lillyXOXO
The shadow will appear blue due to the blue cellophane paper filtering out other colors of light and allowing only blue light to pass through. The color of the shadow will depend on the color of the light passing through the cellophane paper.
The medium in Henri matisse's book jazz, would be different colour paper, that different coloured paper is cut out in shapes, then glued onto a white piece of paper.
Depending on the pH solutions have different colors with a pH paper.
The benefits include high speeds, multiple paper trays, and clear crisp pages. Different brands will have different qualities.
Unbleached paper is the natural colour of the pulp that has been used to the paper. If the paper was made from wood, then it will be a light brown/beige. If the paper was made from other scraps, then it will be that colour.
Paper is fabricated by methods that produce different qualities of paper, different weights, different colours and so forth. Newsprint, on the other hand is a fixed weight, colour and quality. Its usefulness on web presses means that its construct is in rolls as opposed to sheets, such as you might find in paper products.
The bonding of paper is colour sheet.
As Lemon Juice is an Acid, the colour of the Red Litmus Paper will stay the same.
The colour is not changed.
Paper of any colour other then white.
Litmus paper
the people who make the paper put a dye in it
The colour remain unchanged.
