The farther away the slower it looks. it looks much smaller than it actually is therefore: even traveling at 600 mi. p/hr the air space is so vast that it causes an optical illusion.

When you're on a plane, it feels like it's not moving because, except for at takeoff and landing, the plane tends to fly at a constant speed - and you are moving with it at the same speed. You don't sense the plane's motion because you don't sense it accelerating or slowing down.

What is the force you exert on an airplane as it is flying in the air?

Weight. Also, the moving air around the plane causes friction

Is the air that travels under the plane's wing is moving faster?

No. The air that travels over the wing moves faster.

How aircraft fly?

Aircraft fly based on the principal of lift. Lift is the force that pushes a plane up. A wing is curved, which means the air flowing over the top of the wing is moving slower than the air moving under the wing. This faster moving air pushes up on the wing and the plane, making it fly.

How does a jet plane move in the air?

the same ways as any other plane, by moving at a high speed to create lift under its wings

Does air resistance prevent the diver from moving in a straight line once she jumps from the platform?

Since the plane is moving horizontally, the diver will also have this velocity relative to the ground, so on leaving the plane a parabolic curve will tend to be followed although this will be distorted by air resistance.

A moving inclined plane?

Why does it look like a plane is not moving in the air?

because human eyes can see very low distance.

How does air movement improve air?

When humans perspire, the water evaporates, cooling the skin. Moving air increases the evaporative effect, making it seem cooler.

Can airplanes take off with the wind?

Depends on how strong the wind is, how long the runway is, how heavily loaded the plane is etc - but generally, yes. What gets a regular airplane off the ground is how fast it's moving through the air. If the air is moving with the plane - as in a tailwind - it takes longer/more runway for the plane to reach the airspeed needed to fly.

What is an example of a moving inclined plane?

roller coaster is a moving inclined plane

If you run on a plane are you moving faster than the plane?

If the frame of reference is the ground, and if you are running forward, you are indeed moving faster than the plane. If you are running toward the rear of the plane, you are moving slower than the plane.
