Think of both as shades of gray. You know that the darker the surface, the less light is getting to your eyes & the brighter it is the more light that's getting to you.
What you see (from everything but lights and the sun) is reflected light.:
the sun --> object --> eye.
Thus, if an object appears bright then most of the light must have been reflected.
Likewise, if it appears dark then most of the light must have been absorbed.

If something was "completely" black it would absorb all light - but then you couldn't see it.

Likewise, white must absorb some light, or else it would be a mirror.

How much light can the color white absorb?

White does not absorb light - it reflects all visible light waves, while black absorbs all visible light and reflects nothing.

How is white and black different and say it with detail?

White objects reflects visual "light" where as black objects absorb it. black the color is every color so it absorbs all the light(every color in the spectrum), and white is the lack of color so it reflects all the light(every color in the spectrum) that's why you get warmer when you wear black in the sun because it absorbs the sun and white reflects it.

If you absorb all the colors what color would you get?

If an object absorbs all the colors in white light, it reflects black.

Is a color every color?

The color that is every color is black, which uses every color to absorb heat. The opposite is white, and it isn't a color at all, so it reflects heat.

Which color reflects light best black or white?

White reflects light better than black. White objects reflect most of the light that strikes them, while black objects absorb most of the light and reflect very little, making them appear dark.

Gray can absorb any color of light that it encounters. This is because gray is a mixture of black (absorbs all colors) and white (reflects all colors), so it will absorb all colors to varying degrees depending on its shade.

Why black color absorb most heat energy?

Because black has almost no ability to reflect heat. White reflects heat very well, black hardly at all, so the heat builds up in black.

What color are objects that absorb all colors that reflects little light?

Black objects absorb all or most of the visible wavelengths of light, whereas white objects reflect all wavelengths. When all visible wavelengths (violet to red) enter the eye in equal proportions, the color is perceived as white. When no wavelengths reach the eye, the color is perceived as black. Every other color is a mixture of this continuum of wavelengths.

Which color reflects the most energy?

I believe the color is white. Black absorbs the most energy. That's why the color black gets hot quick, but not white.
