Inertia is the ability of any physical object to remain in its state of motion or rest unless acted upon by an external un balanced force.

Eg:Say that a ball is kept stationary on a floor. It will not move unless a force is applied on the ball.So an external force by a person is needed to move the ball i.e is to set it in motion.

This ability of the ball to remain in a state of rest without changing its positon is called inertia..(Unless acted upon by an external force)

Eg:Say the ball is moving along a straight line it will continune to move in a straight line(neglect the friction) unless acted upon by an external force to change its path or to to stop it.

This ability of the ball to remain in a state of motion without changing its positon

is called inertia.(Unless acted upon by an external force)

Newton's laws of motion are perhaps the most fundamental description that we have, of how matter behaves. Even though the laws of motion may seem to be very simple, these things were not understood before Newton. The laws of motion, or the mathematics behind the laws of motion, are necessary for everything that has been done in physics since then.

Because that is what the first law is all about. A body at rest remains at rest and a body in motion continues in uniform motion in a straight line unless it is acted upon by a force. This defines inertia.

Inertia is very important because it is like the the force of pressure and like without Inertia you cant really throw a ball with it going forward.

What is the application of the law of inertia and motion of law of inertia?

the Law of Inertia state

What is inertia important to us?

Inertiais important because Newtons first law of motion is often summed up as following: Matter resists any change in motion. Because this property of matter is called Inertia, Newton's law is sometimes called the Law of Inertia.

What is Another name for newtons first law of motion?

Newton's first law of motion is also known as law of inertia.

Which of Newton's laws explain inertia?

newton's first law of motion is also known as LAW OF INERTIA. inertia is the property of a body by which every body if is in rest it tends to remain in rest and if in motion it tends to remain in motion.

What is a nickname for the first law of motion?

Newton's first law is sometimes called the law of inertia.

Why is Newton's first law of motion called the law of inertia?

because newton’s 1st law of motion uses a lot of inertia

Another name for newton's first law of motion is?

The law of inertia (it relates to an object's resistance to the change in motion)

What is newtons first law of motion also called?

Law of Inertia.

What is the answer of inertia?

Inertia is the tendancy of an object to stay in rest or in motion. Newtons 1st law was the law of inertia.
