NO renewable energy is a good idea! Renewable means that it can be replaced so if we dont use renewable energy soon we'll be in deep trouble, and also renewable energy doesn't emit CO2, a greenhouse gas
One of the advantages of renewable energy is that it has little or no effect on the environment, that is the message from the 'Greens'.
There are some effects: hydro for instance means building a dam and probably flooding a valley, which may cause people who live there or visitors who admire the landscape to regret the changes. Wind power means erecting numbers of large wind turbines on tall towers, in open country, which again affects the landscape. This may not matter in areas with little population, but in a small densely populated country like the UK it is causing upset to a lot of people who either live near the installation or value the scenery which is spoiled. Solar power might have similar effects in affecting the look of the landscape. Biomass use is ok so long as it is re-planted, but in many areas forests are just being cut down and not re-planted. This has had catastrophic effects in South Asia, where run-off from the hills has been accelerated causing flooding lower down.
So as usual, man's activities do have some drawbacks.
They aren't bad. Renewable energy sources emit no carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases. They don't burn fossil fuels. They don't pollute at all. They are the only answer to the future energy needs of the planet.
It isn't bad. Renewable resources for energy include
All these sources are clean and green and emit no (extra) carbon dioxide into the greenhouse gases of the atmosphere.
Renewable energy often relies on the weather for it's source of power
Non-renewable resources:There are loads of non-renewable resources, one of the ones we use mostly (and the one we are most in danger of losing) is oil. Without oil, we wouldn't be able to have things like heated water or be able to use radiators and making things like plastics, we even use it to make things like soap. We would also have no petrol to put in cars and to power some of the biggest machines in the world. If all the oil was to run out we would face a load of problems and wouldn't be able to do most of these things but would have to come up with alternatives instead.
Nuclear energy and renewable energy are not related. Renewable energy does not use nuclear energy.
Renewable means that those resources will be replaced when they are used - either they grow back, like trees, or they are produced constantly, like sunlight. Nonrenewable means that once you use them, they are used, and when you use everything, there will be no more. Resources like coal and oil are nonrenewable because it takes so long to make more (by pressure deep inside the ground for millions of years) that once we use them, no more will be made during our lives. A: Renewable: Renewable energy-or resources-are replenished onced they have been removed and used. They will either grow back, or keep doing what they are doing. Meaning that they are always being produced. Non-renewable: Nonrenewable energy-or resources-are not replenished once they have been removed, taken away, and used. Once it is gone, it will never come back.
Green design
Through capitalisms vast reach for human resources in a time of impending ressesion.
They use a renewable source of energy. Most are constructed using non renewable resources.
People need to use renewable energy so we don't deplete the Earths resources. Renewable energy is energy that comes from resources that can replenish itself. Examples of such resources include wind, and sunlight.
The more renewable energy we use the less non-renewable energy we use. And if we use less of it, it'll last longer.
by using renewable resources
by using renewable resources
The power resources that have been in common use for a long time is termed as conventional power resources.
In term of resources, renewable energy is the resource replenish-able or can regrown to replace the depleted resource such as biomass. Some energy source, such as wind or sunlight will always pass by but not readily deposited for our use and must be use at site that is the flow resources. The them flow resources is not widely use in the energy sector per my knowledge, in current case, it is still considered solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy a renewable energy.
CARS require energy to generate motion (mechanically designed & engineered transmission of power) by transmitting rotational energy from Crankshaft to Tyres.Cars use various renewable and non-renewable resources.Non renewable resources like Petroleum Products - Petrol & Diesel.Renewable resources like Hydrogen, Solar energy & Electricity.
Non-renewable resources such as oil and coal will eventually run out, whereby it will stop providing us with energy. Renewable resources, on the other hand, will not run out. Examples like sunlight, wind, tree, water etc. can be used to provide us with energy as well after non-renewable resources have been exhausted. why are renewable resources important?!? well, because we need our resources.. energy, fuel ect.. but, we dont want to harm the planet to get them. So, we use renewable resources so we use resources that doesnt take away things from our environment that we cant put back in. That way we dont make the situation worse by removing important things from our planet, and also keep resources that we can continue to count on.
Nonrenewable resources are bad in the way that they cannot be used again. For example, gasoline is a nonrenewable resource. Once we use it all, it is gone. Paper, on the other hand, is renewable. We can recycle paper and use it again and again and again.
Yes, if you need it bad enough.
renewable energy resources are those that can be reused while non-renewable energy resources are those that, once used are lost forever and cannot be regenerated again.examples of renewable resources include:solar energy, paper, wind energy , water,etc.e.g of non-renewable resources:wildlife ,petrol, etc.renewable resources are available in nature in plenty but non-renewable resources are limited and at the same time cannot be regenerated after use. Geothermal is a renewable resource. We can take advantage of the hot rocks underground for a long time before the earth cools.
