Because science in general uses something which is called the scientific principle. The scientific principle in short is about:
- coming up with a theory, like "I think adding sugar to my coffee will make it taste better"
- then coming up with a way to test the theory, like "If sugar makes the coffee tastier, then I should be able to tell the difference between a cup with sugar and a cup without, even if I didn't make the cups myself, or saw them being made."
- and you can describe your experiment, what equipment to use etc to someone else, and have them repeat the test and - hopefully - reach the same result.
Testability and repeatability is important in science, and generally speaking parapsychology tend to do a lot poorer in those areas than the more accepted branches of science.
Physics is a well-established and respected science that deals with the study of matter, energy, and the interactions between them. It is not considered pseudoscience.
Physics can be considered to derive from mathematics and is the study of both matter and energy. It is considered to the basic science, because all other sciences can be shown to be derived from it. Any field or science has some amount of physics with in it.
A technique in moving and handling may be considered controversial if it goes against established best practices, lacks evidence-based support, or poses a risk to the safety and well-being of the individual being handled. Controversial techniques may also arise from differences in practice guidelines, professional opinions, or individual preferences within the healthcare community.
Physics is considered a science of energy because it studies the fundamental behaviors and interactions of energy in the universe. Energy is a core concept in physics, underlying various phenomena such as motion, heat, light, and electricity. Understanding how energy moves and transforms allows physicists to explain and predict the behavior of systems at all scales.
Understanding the human brain and consciousness is often considered more complex and challenging than rocket science due to its intricate and still not fully understood nature. The field of quantum physics, with its abstract concepts and unpredictability, is also considered to be more perplexing than rocket science by many.

Parapsychology is a scientific discipline, recognized in the U.S. by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and generally recognized worldwide as a legitimate scientific endeavour. Parapsychology studies some issues in religion as part of a multi-disciplinary set of interests, but the primary research areas focus on Extrasenory Perception and studies of Psychokinesis. So it is doubtful that Frederick William I believed that Parapsychology was a religion per se.

Yes
Parapsychology is a field of study that investigates paranormal or psychic phenomena such as telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis. It aims to use scientific methods to understand and study these phenomena that are beyond the scope of traditional psychology. However, many of the claims made by parapsychologists have not been empirically validated by the larger scientific community.
It seems that anything that isn't considered a 'main stream' religion is thought to be controversial.
Quantum Physics and Parapsychology would be the areas of science that would address issues commonly associated with "magic", including parallel universes, extradimensional beings, "mind over matter", out of body experiences, etc.
considered is not science. It is a word
