When you are in orbit you experience a state that is called "zero gravity" or "microgravity" but gravity still affects your motion. An object in orbit is essentially in freefall. A satellite orbiting Earth, for example, is constantly being pulled toward Earth by gravity but it is moving "sideways" so fast that it follows a curved path that misses Earth entirely. The principle applies to any object in orbit.

Why do thing float in air?

Only in zero gravity

Is there such a thing a zero gravity?

No. Gravity is a force with unlimited reach. Gravitys grip-force decreases with an increase in the distance between bodies. In a nutshell, there is no zero gravity, but there is very close to zero gravity. In the deep space between and at extreme distances from any galaxies we find what is effectively zero gravity.

How many miles from the surface of the earth to zero gravity?

There isn`t anyplace with zero gravity. Every thing in the universe has an amout of gravity excerting to all masses. Although it may be minute it still exists.

What is one impossible thing to do in zero gravity?

One impossible thing to do in zero gravity is to pour a glass of water without it breaking into separate droplets that float around. In a weightless environment, surface tension and cohesion forces dominate, causing fluids to form into globules instead of flowing freely.

How much zero gravity is there in space?

Zero! that's why it is called zero gravity!

Which is more like sky zone or zero gravity?

zero gravity

When did you say that the zero gravity is no gravity?

Depends on the atmosphere. location, place, space and time of zero gravity

Is there zero gravity at the center of the earth?

Yes; the gravity from different sides should cancel, for a net result of zero gravity.

Where is the closest zero gravity place?

There is no "zero gravity" place. Gravity permeates all the universe. Astronauts in orbit are often said to be in zero gravity but they are, in reality, on a position where their orbital velocity balances the attraction of the Earth.
