Why the colors of the rainbow are in that order?

And Red and yellow make orange so it goes in between them , Like red orange yellow

And yellow and blue make green so it goes in between them , like yellow green blue

And blue and violet make indigo so it goes in between them , like blue indigo violet

So its Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet

Good question! I think that when you mix the prvious color(s) you'd get the next one, or maybe the one you are on. Try it! It's just my guess.

It is that order because light's light is changed through a prism and red light bends a little, orange a little more, and so on and so forth.(red+orange+yellow+green+blue+indigo+purple=white)
