Black would radiate heat so easily. So as tyres run they get heated due to friction between it and the road. So if that heat is not removed now and then it would bulge the tyre and the tube inside may get burst.

What is a tire iron and how is it used in relation to changing a flat tire?

A tire iron is a tool used to remove and tighten the lug nuts on a wheel. It is typically L-shaped and has a flat end for leverage. When changing a flat tire, the tire iron is used to loosen the lug nuts before lifting the car with a jack and removing the flat tire. After replacing the tire, the lug nuts are tightened using the tire iron to secure the wheel in place.

How does a tire gauge work to measure air pressure in a tire?

A tire gauge works by using a pressure sensor to measure the air pressure inside a tire. When the gauge is pressed onto the tire valve, it detects the pressure and displays the reading on a dial or digital screen. This allows the user to know if the tire has the correct amount of air pressure for safe driving.

What effect temperature have on tire behaviour?

Temperature can significantly affect tire behavior. In cold temperatures, tire rubber hardens, decreasing traction and making the tire more prone to cracking. In hot temperatures, tire rubber softens, which can increase the risk of blowouts and decrease tire life. It's important to check tire pressure regularly to ensure optimal performance in different temperature conditions.

How much does a car tire Weigh in pounds?

A typical car tire weighs between 20-30 pounds, depending on the size and type of the tire.

How does a tire reduce friction?

A tire reduces friction by creating a smooth interface between the road surface and the tire, allowing the tire to roll smoothly with minimal resistance. The design of the tire, including the tread pattern and material composition, helps to optimize traction and grip while minimizing friction.
