A person will run faster in air as without oxygen they would die. A dead person doesn't move very quickly.

That said if there was no requirement for oxygen, there would be no air resistance in a vacuum and logically they would move at a negligibly grater speed.

Why does bromine diffuse faster in a vacuum?

Bromine diffuses faster in a vacuum because there are no other gas molecules to impede its movement. In the absence of other gas molecules, bromine is able to move freely and quickly through the vacuum.

Can you breathe in a vacuum?

No, as there is no air in a vacuum you would not be able to breathe

How fast vacuum tube works?

it is faster than air as a medium

Light travels faster in?

Light travels faster in a vacuum than in any other medium, such as air or water. Its speed in a vacuum is approximately 186,282 miles per second (299,792 kilometers per second).

Is light faster in empty space or in air?

In empty space, ie in a vacuum

Do heavier objects come down faster?

It depends on their air resistance, in a vacuum NO.

What happens to gravity in vacuum?

In a vacuum, where there is no air or matter, gravity still exists and continues to exert a force on objects. The absence of air resistance may result in faster acceleration of objects in a vacuum compared to in the presence of air.

Why do the particles move faster in a vacuum?

In a vacuum, there is no air resistance or friction to slow down the particles, allowing them to move faster without any impediments. This lack of resistance enables the particles to move freely and at their maximum speed.

What materials can light travel through faster than it travels through air?

Light can travel faster through a vacuum than through air. In a vacuum, light travels at its maximum speed of about 299,792 kilometers per second. This is because there are no particles in a vacuum to slow down the light's speed.

Does sound travel faster in vacuum than solid?

Sound needs something to move through to exist and cannot exist in a vacuum. Sound, as we HEAR it, is fluctuation in air pressure. If there is no air, there can be no sound. If you played your stereo at full blast with the speakers facing the wall inside the space shuttle, an astronaut outside would not be able to hear it because there would be no air to transmit the sound. Sound travels faster in liquids and non porous solids than it does through air. It travels slower in dry air than it does in humid air.

Which is faster a heat wave or sound wave?

Any electromagnetic wave in vacuum is about 881,000 times faster than any sound in air.

Does light travel faster through air water vacuum or glass?

Light travels fastest in a vacuum because there are no particles to slow it down. It slows down in air, even more in water, and even more in glass due to interactions with particles in those mediums.
