Moving at a constant speed if your in the car then there are no forces acting on you from the car. If the car accelerates then the car will push you forward and you will feel the Force of the seat pushing you.

The only other force on you in a car is gravity witch always pulls straight down. Gravity is always there whether the car is accelerating or not.

Why forces acting on a car as it moves along a level highway in still air at a constant speed?

The main forces acting on a car moving at a constant speed on a level highway in still air are the driving force from the engine propelling the car forward and the opposing forces such as friction between the tires and the road and air resistance. When these forces are balanced, the car will continue to move at a constant speed.

What do you know about the forces acting on an object that is moving at a constant velocity?

When an object is moving at a constant velocity, the forces acting on it are balanced. This means that the net force on the object is zero, which allows it to continue moving at a constant speed in a straight line. The forces acting on the object may include friction, air resistance, and any applied forces.

When the forces acting on an object are balanced the motion of the object?

When the forces acting on an object are balanced, the object will remain at rest or continue to move at a constant velocity in a straight line. This is known as equilibrium.

When a lorry is moving at a constant speed what force on the lorry are balenced?

When a lorry is moving at a constant speed, the driving force provided by the engine is balanced by the resistive forces acting against it, such as friction, air resistance, and road resistance. This equilibrium allows the lorry to maintain a constant speed.

When is momentum constant in a closed system?

Momentum is constant in a closed system when there are no external forces acting on the system.

What is the resulting motion of forces acting on a unbalanced bicycle?

Constant acceleration is the resulting motion of forces acting on an unbalanced bicycle.

Can a body in equilibrium if it is in motion?

It can be in equilibrium if in constant motion (constant velocity) as no forces are acting on it (no acceleration)

What are the similarities between balanced and unbalanced forces?

An object with balanced forces acting on it is still. An object with unbalanced forces acting on them moves at an non constant velocity. It is possible for an object to have balanced forces acting on it and yet move in a vacuum.

When is momentum constant in a closed system?

Momentum is constant in a closed system when there are no external forces acting on the system.

Can an object be moving at a constant speed if three forces are acting on the object?

Yes, an object can move at a constant speed if the three forces acting on it are balanced, resulting in zero net force. The forces can cancel out each other's effects, allowing the object to maintain a constant speed.

At least two forces are acting on you right now Assume you're sitting What are these forces?

The two forces acting on you while sitting are gravity, which pulls you downward towards the Earth, and the normal force exerted by the chair you are sitting on, which supports your weight and prevents you from falling through.

What will happen to an object moving at a constant speed if the forces acting on it are balanced?

If the forces acting on an object are balanced and the object is moving at a constant speed, the object will continue to move at that constant speed in a straight line. There will be no change in the object's velocity or direction of motion.

Can an object in free fall has a constant momentum?

Yes, an object in free fall can have a constant momentum if no external forces are acting on it. In free fall, the only force acting on the object is gravity, which causes a constant acceleration. As long as no external forces are present, the momentum of the object will remain constant.
