From both states since Sabah and Sarawak are in the same island.
Borneo.....well, its actually in Sarawak and Sabah..where this Niah Cave is their nesting ground. There are few group of aborigines collect the nests as their work to feed their family through out the year. Lastly, these nests were then exported to Hong Kong for final product.....as soup.....
They grow in Malaya, the Philippines, the Fast Indies and Sumatra. The largest of the family is native to the island of Sumatra.
Rafflesia, known for its large and foul-smelling flowers, primarily attracts pollinators rather than having specific predators. However, its flowers can be affected by herbivores such as insects that feed on its tissues or larvae that may inhabit the flower. Additionally, scavengers might be attracted to the decaying flowers, which can impact the plant's reproductive success. Overall, the main threats to rafflesia come from habitat loss and environmental changes rather than direct predation.
This is the logical proof that Sabah does not belong to Malaysia - Malaysia has manufacture the Cobbold Commission saying that the people of Sabah has wanted to be under them. The fact that the Federal Constitution of Malaysia does not say Sabah is part of Malaysia but under the administrative partnership in governance. All Malaysian Federation has a Sultan but Sabah has none because the Sultan Of Sabah and Sulu are one. If Sabah is part of Malaysia why different system is use not the approved Federal law of Malaysia. It is not clear until today the status of Sabah because Sabah did not join Malaysia ,it was included as a partner to Malaysia as Yong Teck Lee , president of SAPP always point out. The historical Proof that Sabah does not own by Malaysia - way back 1878 Sabah was Leased by a Private British Company ,the lease was transferred to the British Government without the consent of the owner ,The Sultanate of Sulu . In 1963 , the British transferred Sabah to Malaysia again without the consent of the owner. Never you can see in the original "Lease Contract of 1878" that the lease is transferrable nor British Government or Malaysia is mentioned as party or entity to the contract. Malaysia cannot just walk into the contract which was contracted even before they got their independence in 1963 The Legal Proof that Sabah does not belong to Malaysia -- in 1939 ,the high Court of North Borneo has come out with the Ruling that Sabah belongs to the Sultanate of Sulu . The letter of Administration was given authorizing the audit and inventory of the property to Datu Punjungan Kiram ,son of Sultan MawalilWasit, this Letter of Administration is signed by Judge McKaskie of the High Court of North Borneo. The High Court of NorthBorneo also identified the nine principal heis entitled to received the monetary rental. The Letter of Administration has never been implement ted to this day due to World war II and after the turmoils to the hierarchy to the throne but the monetary rental was served .
Rafflesia arnoldii (also known as the stinking corpse lily)Rafflesia arnoldii is the largest single bloom. It's a huge flower that stinks of rotting flesh; the smell attracts small flies which pollinate the flower. While the Titan arum is the world's tallest and largest inflorescence flower. That also stinks of rotting flesh. They both come for the island of Sumatra. They are also found in the Philippines.
The owner of Sabah is the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo Kingdom. It was been rented to the British North Borneo Company ,a private charter company in 1878. When the private charter company has dissolved , the lease was absorbed by the British Government which later transfer to Malaysia in 1963 when they got their independence.Sabah did not join Malaysia according to Yong Teck Lee in his statement , it was included without the consent of the owner , the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo Kingdom. Sabah is now being administered by Malaysia since the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo kingdom is now only a traditional government not political. In 1939 the High Court of North Borneo has come out of the ruling to implement the proprietary audit and inventory of Sabah property of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo but did not materialized due to the coming of Second World War. After the war comes the turmoils in the hierarchy, Dayang Dayang Hadji Piandao, the sister of Princess Tarhata assume the throne and illegally passed on to her husband Ombra Amilbangsa which was not entitled to the throne, then Abraham Rasul ,the adviser of President Marcos misled the president by electing Mahakutta Kiram , the son of Sultan Esmail Kiram I as Sultan while Punjungan Kiram , the successor to his brother Esmail Kiram I was in Sabah. This was corrected when Punjungan return to Sulu and installed by President Marcos. Punjungan Kiram is the administrator of Sabah as per 1939 McKaskie ruling, the father of the current Sultan HRH Esmail D. Kiram IIThe reigning and legitimate Sultan of Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo, (www.sulu.gov.pH) is his Royal highness HRH Sultan Esmail D. Kiram II, he has decided and signed a "Royal Decree' and 'Royal Authority ' to the "Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo Company Limited",a Hongkong registered Company to undertake the total development and management of Sabah property of the Kingdom. There were claiming sultans of Sulu and North Borneo in the relative lineage, but failed to justify themselves holding the positions of Maharajah Adinda and Rajah Muda, prior to their supposed claim as Sultan. The unbroken hierarchy of Maharajah Adinda ,Rajah Muda and Sultan proper must be undergone by the legitimate and reigning Sultan of Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo Kingdom. None so far among claimant Sultans has gone through the Maharajah Adinda and Rajah Muda prior to their claim except his HRH Sultan Esmail D. Kiram II. ( www.sultanatesulu.org )
Sabah problem is very old and mundane due to the weak leadership of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo in the past. The past leaders are not agile enough to see the perpetrators design to grab their land particularly the British Government and the Malaysian government. The new leadership under his HRH Sultan Esmail Kiram II has come out with the finality to pursue the proprietary ownership based on the legal documents they are holding. Proprietary property has nothing to do with politics and so Malaysia will have a hard time to politicize the proprietary property approach because what matter in claiming the property will be based on the legal documents presents. The Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo leadership is not pushing Malaysia to return Sabah instantaneously, but bilateral talks and negotiation is a must to achieve the solution to the issues. His HRH Sultan Esmail D. Kiram has given a private company in Hongkong the authority and Decree to undertake the management ,development and whatever is necessary to undertake the audit , inventory and administration of Sabah island. The Hongkong Company will now legally pursue the issue of ownership , the issue of Malaysian occupation to the rented land and other matters of business in nature. Malaysia must come to their senses because there is no way the Royal People of Sulu and North Borneo will let it forever. Malaysia has made so much money out of Sabah already for the past 47 years. The Malaysian Federal government is merely giving a 5% to the administration of the island plus the yearly rental of US$1,500 dollars and the rest is going to Federal Treasury. This is an outright insult to the public officials of Sabah and to the Royal Sulu and North Borneo people.Sabah is being left behind simply because Malaysia knew that sooner or later they have to talk to the owner while the people of Sabah are living in poverty, Malaysia is continually sucking all the resources and divert the money to their Federal treasury. The issue of sovereignty can be addressed but the need of a sponsor country to elevate the matter to the United Nation General assembly is a must. should there be a serious sponsor country for the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo kingdom , the issue of sovereignty can be easily address. Sponsor country in the sense will benefit to the relative developments and industry that will be develop collateral to the need of the kingdom. Energy development is prime development , China and Germany can sponsor to this and jointly develop the energy sector to ensure their growing economy can be sustained with energy.
Our Fatherland includes SABAH by Juan Guerra We have heard the talk in the past about the territory of Sabah, jointly held by Indonesia and Malaysia, and that past governments have desired to bring it into the fold of our beloved Fatherland. However due to the incessant bickering of our political parties no move to reclaim our territory has ever been made, instead idle posturing and saber rattling is all that resulted. The Samahan will instead pursue a rigorous policy of expansion into the territory of Sabah, not only that our government shall reclaim it, but that it will also be repopulated by Pilipino (Filipino) nationalists. It is intrinsic that once we hold Sabah we must displace the squatter population there and repatriate the entire area with our people in order to hold our claim. Now many ask does this mean war? Of course not, we are a civilized nation and an intellectual party, which means that though we prepare for the terrible chance of war, in actual fact we wish only for peaceful negotiations. We will work with the Indonesian and Malaysian governments and work out trade deals or financial restitution in return for the land. Yes we know that this land was ours, that we should simply take it by force and damn the consequences. But this makes not only for bad foreign policy but also senseless death of countless Pilipino (Filipino) citizens. Some claim that because we desire a strong military and that we will fight for the rights of our people that this means our first action will always be war. No my friends peaceful negotiation must always be the first course of action when working with other nations. The fact that Sabah was ours will lend heavy weight to all our negotiations both regionally and internationally, and that will make it easier for us when we work with our allies to come to a final resolution regarding our national sovereignty. But to what end is the reclaiming of Sabah going to further the Fatherland and our people? Land my friends, it is about living space and breathing room for our national community, land that we need to house and feed our ever-growing population. Instead of facing a nation that will be over crowded and starved for food, with the inclusion of Sabah we will have vast new territories to spread out in and to farm and feed the Fatherland. With Sabah we will have a drive to the frontiers, land for those without their own, those that live in Manila, the so called "squatters", will be allowed to travel to Sabah and claim land for free as their own from which they can farm and not only feed their families but help feed the nation. This will relieve much of the pressure on Manila and the resources that the city has at their disposal. The poor will be given a chance to create strong and better lives, with aid from our government and a new series of developmental banks that will provide training and funding to build massive tracks of agricultural lands. OF course we must take precautions ahead of time to protect from slash and burn policies that the Malays and Indonesians have practiced for years. Killing of the natural world, wiping out animals and plant life that may one day yield beneficial harvests in the medical world. Even the pollution from these slash and burn policies have affected the health and well being of our people in the Philippines, the smoke and carcinogens have made their way to our cities causing worse health risks to our nation then were already there. No for us the inclusion of Sabah is not only going to be a massive economic boon to all our people, to our agricultural industry, but it will also be a huge boost to our national morale helping to spur on the national economy and bringing the standard of living up for our entire nation. Sabah belongs to us; we must take it back as our historical and divine right. The land belongs to us and it is unjust in the best of light that it continues to be used by foreign governments that wrongfully took away our sovereign rights. We will accept nothing short of repatriation to the Fatherland, though we will work with these nations peacefully to achieve such goals. Brothers the time has come to watch our nation expand well beyond its borders, to what once was the Philippines of the past. Before cowardly imperialists gave away that which was not theirs to begin with to pay of other foreign governments. It is time that these nations made right the wrongs from the past, to pay back what they have taken from us, and it is time for the rest of the world to recognize the sovereign rights of the Fatherland.
One adaptation is that the Plant smells like rotting meat to attract flies. Those flies spread the pollen from the flower. This adaptation is physical. Another adaptation would be that it attaches itself to highgrowing plants so it can reach the canopy of the rainforest.
