Bermuda grass is a perennial grass. That means that even though it seems to have died, it will come back with some TLC (Tender Loving Care). Your best bet would be to water regularly, sprinkle some more soil onto the area, and maybe even consider adding some more seeds.

As far as watering goes, my best results came from flooding the lawn area every two weeks, and mowing during the interim weeks.
