Dandelion leaves are great in salads. The petals themselves can also be put in salads or sprinkled over rice. The white stuff from inside the stem can be used as glue.

P.S. I have not tried any of these things. I have only heard about them. As soon as dandelions come up in my area (in about a month or two) I will try these and tell you how they taste.
