Well that is a very good question but it is really a personal answerpersonally I prefer real trees because they are very beautiful and they smell nice too! But they can get very difficult to find sometimes but with the unreal tree you can just to go and get one quickly instead of searching and searching for the perfect one for that BUT you do have to put them together.
