Monsteras generally prefer to be planted in pots that are slightly larger than their current size, as they like to have room for their roots to grow. However, they do not necessarily require very large pots, as long as the pot has good drainage and the plant is not root-bound.
Hi, I live in NE of England and have just planted 3 aurea's in big pots with compost. My Bamboo leave tips are also turning brown. I've researched but can't work out whether its too much or too little water. The pots have broken bricks in the bottom and should have adequate drainage. can anyone clarify?
It depends on the brand. And what size you chose.
if their small enough they can be planted by hand but if their to big their usually planted by machines so there really is no right or wrong answer to that question

You get a twig and you leave it in a small cup or vase near sunlight and in about three weeks in should have sprouted roots after that just keep moving the plant into bigger plant pots until it is big enough and strong enough to be planted outside GOOD LUCK! I hope this helps Samsami
