A dogwood tree can be identified by its distinct features, such as its horizontal branching pattern, smooth gray bark, and unique flowers, which typically bloom in spring. The flowers can be white, pink, or red, depending on the species, and have petal-like bracts that surround the small cluster of actual flowers. Additionally, the tree produces berry-like fruits in the fall, and its leaves are oval with a smooth edge, turning vibrant colors in autumn. Overall, these characteristics make dogwoods easily recognizable in landscapes.

No. Although the Legend of the Dogwood is a lovely story, the Bible does not identify the type of wood from which the Cross was made.
Mine is the Droid by HTC which I'm noticing is a bit different, but I did: tools+bamboo=wood
Burnt wood is essentially sterilized carbon. That won't hurt your dog, with one exception: If the "burnt wood" is burned lumber that was pressure treated, yes, it could poison your dog. But a burnt tree limb, or log of ordinary fire wood? No.
