.step 2 make sure you pick the perfect spot for you tree and make sure it want get in the way of everything . .step3 make sure your maple has lots of sunlight if its witer when you get it you may want to keep it inside with a lamp on in for at leat 4 to 3 hours. everyday ..step 4 when you plant you tree make sure the hole is at least 2 feet and 10 inches wide because your tree will get really big.next what you want to do is make sure you have alot of water for your new tree and then just go from there ooo and make sure you have dirt type 7 you can get it at your local walmarts or foodcitys hope this help if you need eany more info let me no
