A seed is inside a hard shell. So Until It is planted it is stored in that. Once planted and roots start to grow the seed starts to break out of the shell!
Mine were planted in April and were done by August. I live in Florida and some non-native parrots made short work of them when the seeds got ripe.
you planted a seed of knowledge in him and now your watching it grow. He probably never thought of the idea until you asked it to him.
You can typically walk on new grass after it has been planted for about 2-3 weeks, once it has had time to establish its roots.
Potatoes are just like other other members of its family such as tomato and eggplant in that once planted, only one harvest a year may be taken. They are not like alfalfa, for example, in which multiple hay crops are harvested in the course of the year.
Horseradish typically takes about 8 to 10 months to grow from planting to harvest. It is usually planted in early spring and can be harvested in the fall once the roots have developed sufficiently. The roots can be left in the ground and harvested as needed, as they can remain viable for several years, allowing for a continuous supply.
Growing alfalfa is relatively easy provided you have adequate soil and water available. Alfalfa is a perennial, meaning once the field is seeded you usually don't have to replant year after year. To start a field you will need a seed spreader. Once the field is established, you will need a sprayer to apply herbicide to keep weeds from crowding out or mixing in with your alfalfa. Depending upon the model of sprayer and the type of fertilizer you want to use, you may need another machine to spread fertilizer - alfalfa has a lot of nitrogen in it, so you generally have to supplement the field with nitrogen to maintain adequate yields over the years. Harvesting alfalfa hay takes the most equipment and time. You will need a mower or cutter to chop off all but a few inches of the plant and lay the stems and leaves down in the field. After about a day, you'll need to use a rake to flip the alfalfa over and let it finish drying on both sides. Once dry, you'll need a baler to collect and package the alfalfa into bales. You can also may alfalfa silage, which will require the same mower but a different rake and either a bagging machine or a wagon to carry the wet alfalfa to a silo or packager.
On Moshi Monsters, all seeds grow into flowers which then attract a moshling. Once the moshling has been attracted, the flowers are dug up so that another seed can be planted. So, the Dragon Fruit on Moshi Monsters is simply a flower. They do not stay around long enough to grow a fruit or a vegetable.
To make alfalfa meal, start by drying fresh alfalfa leaves and stems until they are crisp. Once dried, grind the alfalfa using a food processor or grinder until it reaches a fine, powdery consistency. Store the alfalfa meal in an airtight container, keeping it in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness. This meal can be used as a nutritious supplement for livestock, pets, or in gardening.
The life cycle of marigolds begins with seed germination, which typically occurs within a week when seeds are planted in warm, moist soil. Once germinated, seedlings grow into young plants, developing leaves and roots. As they mature, marigolds produce vibrant flowers, which attract pollinators and can last several months. Finally, once the flowers wilt, they produce seeds, completing the cycle as these seeds can be collected and planted to grow new marigold plants.
You can safely walk on newly planted grass after about 2-3 weeks, once the roots have had time to establish in the soil.
it grows back if you trim it a little once per month. Then your hair can grow faster and longer.
