Cotton plants grow wild in many parts of the world.
The invention of cotton picking machines.
A cotton picker goes through the rows of cotton picking off the cotton from the opened boles after the plant is killed by the farmer. It can clean the plant of all cotton with several passes through the rows. It usually takes about 3-4 days to clean a field. The cotton that is picked is placed in a special container that can be taken to the cotton gin to be processed and bailed. More cotton can be grown because of the cotton picker and more plants can be picked clean by the machine. Even though, the cotton picker has allowed more cotton to be grown the amount that is grown ( at least in CA) is less. Many planters are taking out cotton and putting in fruit trees as well as other crops.
The 'Smashing Cotton Plants' haven't released any albums yet. They are currently working on their first album 'Smashing Cotton Plants- The Album'. The release date remains unknown.

Many cotton candy machine rentals are available online. These online companies can have the machine shipped to you and have it picked up at your convenience. There are also other party food machines that can be rented, such as popcorn machines, and even a shaved ice cart for making great frozen treats such as margaritas and snow cones. They are nice, but cotton candy machines are more popular with kids. There is nothing like a large cone of soft, colorful cotton candy. It is the highlight of many events. A cotton candy machine rental makes it easy to have a great time at home events.
The slaves were mostly employed on cotton picking, jungle clearing, and looking after cattle.

Eli Whitney in 1793 -- invented the cotton gin.AnswerIn 1850, Taylure and Paige made the first attempt to develop a mechanical cotton picker with the intent of replacing manual labor. Mechanical cotton pickers had no further inventions until the founder of Price Campbell Cotton Picker Corporation created one in 1889. Very little progress was made from then until 1924, when the Price-Campbell patents were purchased by International Harvester. Many experimental machines that were greatly improved from Price-Campbell's inventions were brought out during the period from 1924 until 1939. The idea of mechanical cotton picking began to be practical in 1943, when International Harvester produced the first dozen of their successful commercial cotton pickers. Although there were many attempts to invent successful cotton pickers, their use was not made practical until the 1950s, and even then, it was not immediately implemented on most farms.
Several plants do such as cotton. The soap tree yucca is another plant I know of. I am sure there are many others.
