Bar Harbor juniper, AKAJuniperus horizontalis 'Bar Harbor' is one of the most widely used and well-proven varieties of juniper. It is a prostrate or flat type, has woody, wide-spreading branches and is densely packed with scaly, needle-like blue-gray foliage. Typically, it grows 6 to 12 inches tall, probably closer to the shorter end of the range, and 4 to 6 feet wide.
