Trees help the environment in so many ways. The country of Israel began a tree-planting campaign years ago, and the result was that a land of arid desert became a fertile field where now wonderful fruit trees grow, and the soil erosion has been averted. Planting enough trees can even cause climate change and improve the climate. Trees cut down on noise pollution, produce oxygen for us to breathe and use carbon dioxide which our machinery and animals and people produce. Who can deny the beauty of a grove of lovely trees, and many trees produce nuts, fruit, food for birds, animals and people. We use wood for our furniture, houses, packaging, paper, and ways too numerous to mention. Some tree leaves are used for healing medicines. Deforestation is a problem around the globe which causes climate change. So I would say a good thing you could do for yourself and all posterity would be to plant trees. Small saplings are very inexpensive, and sometimes free.
According to the Hausa folk-lore, the kazaura tree is a blessing to the community
