No, but it can give you a nasty case of internal poison ivy. Don't do it!
The person who wrote the answer above has no idea what they are talking about! The correct answer IS No, you wont become immune to it BUT you also wont develop any irritation internally!! I have been drinking poison ivy as a child and still am very fond of the tea. Also the irritation caused by poison ivy is not contagious, the irritation only occurs when the person comes into direct contact with the plant. As a child i picked poison ivy with my mother for tea and often "burned" myself. An easy and quick way to relieve irritation is to not disturb the effected area. If you don't touch it the irritation will pass in a few minutes. If irritation persists simply dab some tea tree oil over the effected area.
If you are near the ocean anywhere, get into the water, lightly break the poison ivy blisters with sand and let the ocean water get at it. This dries up poison ivy faster than any other treatment I know. This can get rid of poison ivy in just a day or two. other means include, applying tea tree oil or aloe vera. You can get rid of Poison Ivy rashes by immediately rinsing your skin when the poison ivy strikes, rubbing the skin with some alcohol, or by taking an antihistamine.
Yes.
I wouldn't trust this myth to put my own life on it. Poison is poison is poison, and I would think that the addition of tea would only help if one of the chemicals in the tea itself acted as an antidote to the poison. That said, think about this: tea made from hemlock was used as an execution method back in the greek days.
Of coarse you can still drink it. In my opinion it does not taste very good but it won't poison you or anything.
It is generally safe to drink expired tea, as long as it has been stored properly and does not show any signs of spoilage, such as a strange odor or appearance. However, the taste and quality of the tea may be compromised.
no, this is the reason why they have the expipiery date on it, do i highly aadvise you do not drink it
It is generally safe to drink tea made from tea leaves, as long as they are properly brewed and not consumed in excessive amounts. However, consuming whole tea leaves or large quantities of tea leaves may lead to digestive issues or potential toxicity due to the caffeine content. It is recommended to brew tea according to package instructions for safe consumption.
If it's reasonably fresh, sure.

i wouldn't if it is more then 3 days expired.
maybe
Yes, tea can expire over time, but it does not usually go bad or become unsafe to drink. To determine if tea is still safe to drink, check for any unusual odors, flavors, or changes in appearance. Additionally, if the tea has been stored properly in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, it is likely still safe to consume even after the expiration date.
