Indigenous to where?
Indigenous fruits are those fruits that grow naturally in a country, rather than being introduced by fruit farmers and greenhouse keepers. For example, tomatoes are native (indigenous) to Italy, but they cannot survive in the cold climate of Norway without the protection of a greenhouse. Therefore, tomatoes are not indigenous to Norway.
Some examples of indigenous materials found in the Caribbean include mahogany wood, calabash gourds, sisal fibers, seagrape leaves, coconut shells, bamboo, jute, sweetgrass, cassava, and various types of clay for pottery.

No fruits were combined to make the kiwifruit. The fruit is grown on a vine and is indigenous to southeast Asia.
