It loses all of its leaves
yes No, but I will explain. All green things have a growing season. That's why the corn in the field dies and the oak trees' leaves fall off. The usual ideas about cold weather or shorter days are bogus. You can fool plants into lengthening their growing season, but not by much! So just the same as evergreens know when to shoot out new growth and when to drop pine cones, they shed needles too. And I hope you didn't mean Christmas trees......
It is a tree that loses its leaves in the fall. : )
Most conifers have needles instead of leaves. Some conifers have leaves.
Larch
The coniferous tree with needles that turn yellow in the fall is the larch tree.
No. I do not know of any Maple species that are Evergreen.
they will change it color to yellowed, red,or orange
Tamarack, otherwise known as larch, is a softwood. Softwood species are normally evergreen trees with needles and cones, conifers. Tamarack is a conifer but it is deciduous, loses its needles each fall like a hardwood.
Most conifers that lose needles in winter are larches (Larix species). They are deciduous conifers, meaning they shed all their needles in fall, unlike evergreen conifers which retain their needles year-round. This unique feature gives larches a distinctive appearance in winter when they appear bare.
A common type of larch tree is the Larix decidua, known as the European larch. It is a deciduous conifer with soft, needle-like leaves that turn golden yellow before shedding in the fall. A fast-growing tree, it is often used in forestry and landscaping.
They are called coniferous trees. Deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn. Coniferous trees KEEP their leaves in autumn.
No they don't. What kind of trees are coniferous? It means, cone bearing. So, the most familiar kind of cone on a tree is the pine cone. What kind of leaves do pine trees have? They have needles, very narrow leaves that do not drop off in the fall, but stay on all year. Some conifers, such as the Larch, drop their leaves in the Autumn, but they do not have large broad leaves.
