Well, depending on how severe it is you could use stronger or weaker ointments.
For mild I would probably use antibiotics which is the easiest way and does not hurt.
If it is in between I would normally use a spray that you could get at the clinic and then put on antibiotics.
And if it is absolutely severe I would probably do all of the above, go to a doctor, aaand use all of the anti pain cream (no drugs needed) on your wound.
