Yes there is a flower beginning with x. It's called Xeranthemum Annuum (Immortelle). One of the everlasting flowers, whose blooms are dried and used for Winter decoration. The daisy-like flowers are produced freely in Summer and colours include shades of pink, lilac, purple and white. Usualy sold in a mixture such as "Double Mixed" with crested double cornflower-like blooms on long stems.
