What goes in is:

1:metallic silver rose (red or trailing rose)

2:giant pumpkin (squash)

3:giant strawberry (strawberry)

4:rainbow tulip (tulip)

5:giant sunflower (sunflower)

6:butterfly pansy (pansy)

7:star potato (potato)

8:either a special daffodil or a golden apple.I havent gotten that far.

thanks.The way you get special plants is by planting then twice.they go into the treasure chest.

Well, I've unlocked almost all the special plants in the special garden..except for one, not because I didn't have it, but because my ds decided to hate me and not read the game anymore just before I did it ..anyway, the plants are:

1)Star Potato (potato, you can get it either with the potato fertilizer you get with bonus gifts or by trying a lot of times with a 100 score and see if you get lucky,the same applies to pretty much all the special plants)

2)Metallic Silver rose(Trailing rose or red Rose, either fertilizer or 100score several times until you get it)

3) Metallic black Rose (Trailing Rose or red rose, same as metallic silver one)

4)Giant Pumpkin (Squash,same as with everything else)

5) Giant Strawberry (Strawberry)

6)Golden Apple (apple)

7)Rainbow Tulip (Tulip...I do think you can only get this one with the fertilizer, but then again, I wasn't that good with non-rose flowers to begin with so..100 score?not possible :DU)

8)Giant Sunflower(Sunflower, same as with the Tulip, but feel free to give it a shot,or ten,without the fertilizer if you want to)

9)Butterly Pansy (Pansy..the one that got away, this is the one I could never grow, now I have the fertilizer for it so : D I'll try and see if I get it)

that's all some people forget the black rose sometimes,so I thought it would be nice to complete this..a bit of advice for anyone reading this..do try for the 100 score EVEN if you have the fertilizer..it could only help you be certain you'll get the special plants anyways :D hope this helps.
