There's not much difference between the both , your turning over soil and making it deep enough for whatever seeds your going to sow into the ground . Plowing is with a plow you plow on a angle at a deeper rate than cultivating So you'd probably plant Corn , Wheat and Barley with cultivating you'd be using a 6meter cultivator cultivating in a straight pattern , it does not make deep pockets for the seeds but it turns over the soil enough for winterish conditions , so you'd most likely plant canola ,beans and most likely rice , I hope iv'e help towards your'e question , I'm a farmer from Wales with a lot of experience :-) so I do know what I'm talking about just in case you think I'm bullshiting :-) Hope you have a nice day !!
