My Little Giant seeds have all been volunteers for the past have dozen years. They sprout in late April or early May, and reach their full height by early August. They continue to mature until the end of August and into September, but their full height is achieved within 90 days.

They average about 10 feet, though the head bends the stalk down. If they were straight, and the root ball was included, you would have about 12 feet altogether, or 1.6 inches per day. I should try measuring them this year, in the morning and in the evening--12 hours apart, to see what part of the day the biggest spurt occurs.

If a condition changed where a group of sunflowers lived so that all nutrients and sunlight were plentiful how would the sunflowers population change?

If a group of sunflowers experienced a condition where nutrients and sunlight were plentiful, their population would likely increase significantly. With abundant resources, the sunflowers would have optimal conditions for growth, leading to higher rates of germination, survival, and reproduction. Over time, this could result in a denser population of sunflowers, as more seeds would be produced and successfully establish in the area. Additionally, the overall health and vigor of the sunflowers would improve, further supporting population growth.
