1) collect a conker
2) Place some crocks at the base of a pot then neatly fill it with soil, mixed with compost
3)Plant the conker 2cm deep then cover it up with soil and compost
4) water it well
5) Put the pot in a shady place in the garden for winter

You will need to wait until the spring to see the conker tree has sprouted.You can grow the tree in a pot as long as you keep repotting it into a bigger pot whenever it gets too cramped. It is worth planting up several conkers in case some don't work.
