Carbon is produced in the form of carbon dioxide as a by product ( waste product)

of respiration. People commonly think that only animals respire. This is not true. Both plants and animals respire but plants do this only at night and animals/humans do this constantly to stay alive. so plants produce carbon in the form of carbon dioxide other animals do via respiration also,

combustion produces Co2 aswell as this which is an identical process to aerobic ( with oxygen) respiration except it produces smoke aswell as carbon dioxide and other chemicals depending on what you are burning.

Fermentation so making beer involves a different type of respiration which forms carbon dioxide known as anaerobic respiration ( without oxygen)

glucose->CO2 and ethanol ( alcohol)

carbon itself can be found in what you'd least expect . . . diamond and other substances such as graphite which are formed deep underground due to the temperature and pressure.

hope this helps

What metabolic activity in plants produces sugars?

Photosynthesis is the metabolic activity in plants that produces sugars. During photosynthesis, plants use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. This process occurs in the chloroplasts of plant cells.

What produces the carbon dioxide that plants need?

Plants obtain the carbon dioxide they need for photosynthesis from the atmosphere.

What are plants produces oxygen?

What are the importance of carbon?

Carbon is a very important substance in the atmosphere. This is because plants use carbon during photosynthesis which produces oxygen.

What are the atmospheric effects caused by carbon dioxide?

The plants Suck in the carbon dioxide then photosynthesis pops in and produces Oxygen.

Which process in plant produces carbon dioxide?

I'm afraid that would be impossible as plants take in carbon dioxide and produces oxygen not carbon dioxide

Why are carbon dioxide plants found next to breweries?

the yeast that they use in brewing produces the gas.

What activities that produce carbon dioxide and oxygen?

Photosynthesis, a process carried out by plants and algae, produces oxygen and absorbs carbon dioxide. Conversely, cellular respiration in organisms, including humans and animals, produces carbon dioxide as a byproduct and consumes oxygen.

How does fungus use carbon dioxide and produces oxygen?

Fungus do not produce oxygen from carbon dioxide, Only green plants with chlorophyll exhibit photosynthesis.

Name the metabolic process that produces carbon dioxide and water in plants and animals?

The metabolic process that produces carbon dioxide and water in plants and animals is called cellular respiration. During this process, glucose is broken down in the presence of oxygen to generate energy, releasing carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. This process occurs in the mitochondria of cells and is essential for energy production in both plants and animals.

What is metabolic pathway in plants that consumes oxygen and produces carbon dioxide?

Through Crebs' cycle in aerobic respiration

How can you protect yourself from pollutants like carbon dioxide?

tree planting because when we inhale we got oxygen and when we exhale we produces carbon dioxide which the plants needed.
