I live in Northwest Arkansas and my Sambac Jasmine plants do very well in the hot summer months. This winter My plants started to get some yellowing leaves and some just dried up green colored. I have fish emulsion and mixed it up with water, I watered all 4 of my jasmine plants. They perked up and after about 2 weeks I pruned them back. They are back outside on warm days and doing great. I can't wait till they start blooming again!!

What is the life cycle of a yellow jasmine?

The life cycle of yellow jasmine (Gelsemium sempervirens) begins with seed germination, typically occurring in spring. The seedlings grow into young plants, developing stems and leaves as they establish roots. As they mature, yellow jasmine produces fragrant yellow flowers, which attract pollinators. After flowering, the plant produces seed pods that eventually release seeds, allowing the cycle to start anew.

Does the jasmine flower come in a violet color?

I live in Spain & have just bought a violet coloured Jasmine plant from the local garden centre. Its description was Jasminum Violeta. It is a beautiful plant with very dark green leaves & it has lots of buds on it. The flower itself is similar to the white Jasmine but not as many in the clusters. The leaves are not at all like the white Jasmine plant that I own,but look to be evergreen & more like the shape of the yellow Winter Jasmine.
