The Lady Of Shalott and Elaine are the same "The Lady Of Shalott" was just a name given to Elaine by English Poet Alfred lor Tennyson :)
Elaine of Astolat, also known as the "Lady of Shalott," is the woman in Alfred, Lord Tennyson's "Idylls of the King." She is known for her unrequited love for Sir Lancelot and her tragic fate.
Elaine of Astolat was probably a fictional character. The story is that she fell in love with Lancelot, nursed him to health when he was wounded, and subsequently died of a broken heart when she realized he would not return her love.
Elaine of astolat daughter of King Pelles was also known as the lady of shallot, the fair lily maiden who was deeply in love with lancelot, one of King Arthurs knights of the round table. Most famous from Lord tennysons poetry she is a representation of unrequited love as Lancelot is in love with another Queen Guinevere. Sadly elaine of Astolat dies of grief and heartbreak that her love is not returned from lancelot and is placed on barge to sail towards Camelot.
The Lady of Shalott is the title of a poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. The woman in the poem is loosely based on Elaine of Astolat, a character in the Arthurian legends who was in love with Sir Lancelot - dyingof unrequited love for him.
the poem doesn't exactly say who cursed the lady of shalott but it does say:'She has heard a whisper say,A curse is on her if she stayTo look down to Camelot.'so basically i think that some whispers said it to her either in her head or whatever but it was whispers

If Sir Lancelot and the Lady of Shalott were to meet, it would likely result in a romantic connection or a deep emotional encounter, given their respective roles in Arthurian legend and Tennyson's poem. Depending on the interpretation, their meeting could lead to love, tragedy, or a mix of both.
