It isn't really a "funny" poem, but I think it is a great poem. I am probably going to use it for my 8th grade graduation. Well, here it is! = = = "Anyway" Author unknown = People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. The answer depends on the theme of your graduation. Sometimes lines out of songs make a good quote or theme. I remember one year my 8th grade used the song "The Wind Beneath my Wings" as the theme and took lines out of the song. It made a beautiful evening. Think of things that inspire or talk about goals. Look in the book store for a book of quotes listed according to subject.

It's good to write your own. I know that I can tell if my students wrote their own or not. It makes me second guess writing them recommendation letters.
