Hi anybody knows what the poem 'I wonder' is all about?

The poem is really called Wondrous world

I wonder why the grass is green

And why the wind is never seen?

Who taught the birds to built a nest

And told the trees to take a rest?

O, when the moon is not quite round

Where can the missing bit be found?

Who lights the stars, when they blow out

And makes the lighting flash about?

Who paints the rainbow in the sky

And hangs the fluffy clouds so high?

Why is it now, do you suppose

That dad won't tell me if he knows? I think it means that our beautiful world is so big and misterious and that their are so many ananswered questions. But we are quickly catch up with it and finding way to find out the answers to all of our question. I think the last bit about the persons dad means that not everyone will know the true and correct meaning to amazingly mysterious questions but they can always learn.
