We bouqht our own ram and he qot Millie preqnant, but unfortunatly Martha missed out. I think it's unfair so I'm qunna see what I can do so Martha can have her own. Millie and Martha do everythinq toqether.[[SUPER AWESOME UPDATE=]]THE BEST THING POSSIBLE HAS HAPPENED,, (I thought I would update this for anyone interested)Well,, Millie gave birth to twin girls, Emillie and Tinkabelle on the 20th August, so she was pregnant. They're white with black spots/patches on their faces which makes them supercuties. And,, Martha is pregnant, her udders are filling up now, we've done a bet on the due day and it looks like it'll be Friday (4th September).Turns out Martha was pregnant. She gave birth to a girl, Thumbalina on the 13th September, so she was pregnant too. Thumbi is white with dark legs. She is so bonny. She is well looked after by her big sisters, Emi and Tinka.I was just walking towards Martha like "omg, Martha, youre such a good auntie, babysitting millies babies." Then when I got closer I saw at the other side of Martha was another tiny baby. I screamed "OMG OMG OMG!"I was so shocked, firstly I looked for a twin, typical me, lol. No twin. Then I screamed to everyone "A lamb a lamb" They looked at me, didnt believe me because I'd faked it so many times, lol. Then my friend told everyone I was telling the truth.[[omg im so disturbed right now, my manky dog had come in drenched from the rain and she has her wet mucky paws all over the keyboard. And shes on my bed rolling everywhere and drenching everything and licking herself and me.]]..omg, i only got up to shut the door and now shes sat in my space!!!!she may be my best friend, but she so gets on my nerves, lolFINALLY shes stopped now! lolok, sooo, Thumbi... GREAT, shes doing it again, stupid dog, I cant write when shes annoying me which is 24/7 lol, now she shook in the house and went back outside again, yay, lolok... so, shes BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!! Il just ignore her, if that's even possible. If anyones interested, shes a black and white collie x greyhound, stunning, annoying.Right... ok, shes pushing me, ok... Il squash her, lol, right, so... baby lambie.. uhmm, shes really cute and spends heaps of time with her big sisters and mummy. Life is shocking for her, we were over-protective with Emi and Tinka, but now with Thumbi, were kinda just relieved that the waiting is over and that all sheep have popped there babies out. Although my lil goat seemed a bit fat yesterday, but she cant be pregnant, we kept her away from Lambo and her bf has no *cough cough* boy parts, lol. And I doubt the horse or the pig or the rooster got her pregnant, lol.So ATM Thumbi has met sheep, goats and a horse, I reckon it would be so cute to see her around chickens, lol. Shes so small. I call her Thumbalina, Thumbi or Baby-Leena. I call Tinka, Tinkabelle, Tinka or Baby-Belle. And I call Emi, Emillie, Emi or Baby-Lee. lolWhat else is there to say???If you have any questions about them, just ask, don't erase the other answers, lol, cause its funny.
Depends, If you're hand-rearing it (without its mum)You need to feed it lots of milk, If it wont drink from the bottle, Like I did with my goat kids, You'll have to catch it, put it on your knees like a baby and push it in.My goats were so hard, after a while they learn, they hate being separated from their mums, that upset me so much hearing those loud weird screams. I didnt separate them from their mums, lol, I would never agree with that. But after a while the screams quiet down and turn into more of a cry for milk.2 weeks later, after having sore knees I managed to stand over them, like on a pony, and fed them like that until a day later they were running to the fence everytime they see a bottle. It's important that if they don't drink the whole two bottles a day that you have to kinda force feed them. In a non-mean way, you just need to do it for their own health. If you're not hand-rearing it (still on its mums milk)You need to spend time with them to keep them confident around you. Some like Tinka, the 2nd oldest of my lambs, just come up to you from birth and are always confident, more confident than hand-reared ones. Most, like Emi, the oldest, are not overly confident, still careful, but will come for a stroke. Some like Thumbi, the youngest, follow what their mum does. Because Thumbie is an only-child (no twin, most sheep have twins) she sticks with her mum mostly. Her mum is scared of dogs and sometimes human, since becoming pregnant shes been really good though. So when Thumbi is with her mum she runs away and hides. When shes hanging out with her big sisters Emi and Tinka, she'll come for a stroke. You don't need to do much with lambsIf they don't have a mum you need to contact a vet for all the injections or it may die painfully, I've seen it, its so sad.Apart from that, just worm them when they're older and shear them when theyre alot older. My adult sheep currently need a shear, their wool is almost 3 inches long =0

on average 6 monthsEdit: Aactually, just under 5 months is a sheeps gestation.Answer 3*22nd Feb - 25th May we had our ram Sheep 1 (Millie) gave birth to twins (Emi and Tinka) on 20th Aug Sheep 2 (Martha) gave birth to one (Thumbi) on 13th SeptMillie: 117-181 days (aprx 5mnths) bout 150 daysMartha: 141-205 days (aprx 5mnths) bout 180 daysThey're different breeds (Millie is Border and Martha is Corrie (I think)And the ram (Lambo) was HampshireMillie got pregnant half way through the duration of having a ramMartha got pregnant towards the endI thought neither were pregnant, just got over the happiness of the thought of lambs and suddenly Millies udders dropped, a month or so later we had twins. Then I felt sorry that Martha probably wouldn't get a chance to be a mum, but her udders dropped just under a month later and I was just thinking "Aww, look what a good auntie Martha is now, babysitting Millies lambs." Then I realized that Millies lambs were being good big sisters to their new lil sister. They're always hanging out.It was kinda like the boy who cried wolf because I'd tricked everyone about them having lambs so many times, then this time nobody came and they thought I was joking. That was probably the longest possible answer, lolHow long are shheps pregnant
