lord ullin was lord in ulva island,there was a chieftain of ulva island who runs away with lord ullins daughter,they wanted to flee to lochgyle(an island opp to lord ullins island).They then saw a boatman,the chietain asks him to ferry them to lochgyle and he also was willing to pay him 3 silver pounds for the same...onthe other hand the waves grew angrier ...now even the god was not on their side.but later the boatman agreed without asking for a single penny but for the so beautiful bride.the horseman of lord ullin were chasing them for last 3 days.they entered the boat when the waves were becoming very violent, the night grew more furious.the lady was asking yhe boatman to row the boat more quickly.the army man were coming she is been chased and tochered.with a violent and furious sea before her.before reaching the end of the shore the boat was engulfed by the angry sea.they tried very hard to overcome them but in vain.then lord ullin said in grief to her daughter calling her back and forgiving her .but it was too late ,her one hand streached around her lover and one straight for help.......the tears of lord ullin went in vain
