Bella's goals are to try to get her boyfriend, Edward (who is also a vampire) to turn her into a vampire, as well. She also wants her best friend and werewolf, Jacob, to be able to like her only as a friend, and nothing more. Also, Bella wants everyone to try and be hapy, even though that sometimes does not work out.
Some of her problems are that Edward refuses to change her into a vampire unless she marrys him. There is also a barrier between Edward and Bella, because Edward is trying to restrain himself from drinking her blood.
