This quote is a play on words. It means that in order to triumph, or succeed, you have to put some "oomph" into your attempt. When people use the word oomph they are generally saying you have to find something that gives the situation a little extra of something to put it over the top. (The word oomphactually comes from a sound people make--as if you were carrying a couch up a flight of stairs and it gets stuck at the last step and you give it that last push to get it up over the edge.)

So, in this case, triumph is just that little extra bit of effort added to your try that puts it over the top. (Try+oomph)
