Uh...he does not want to be at home when a monster comes to his house? Other than that, he rattles off a list of small towns in Illinois and Wisconsin mixed in with other international locals as places he might be other than home. I can see that as education it might make someone become familiar with cities like Malmo or Ghor, where they would never have heard of them before. The theme of the collection of poems "Don't Bump the Glump" seems to be mostly that of being devoured by monsters -- although a few of the poems do not follow that theme.
