The main theme of the poem, I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud, by William Wordsworth, is happiness. The speaker, in the beginning of the poem, was very lonely and he was roaming around with a purpose. Then he came across the sight of these daffodils that he claimed were dancing. This filled the speaker with happiness. At the end of the poem he tells us that anytime he is in a bad mode he thinks of the dancing daffodils and it makes him feel better.
