An enjambed couplet is a pair of lines in poetry where the meaning of one line carries over into the next without a pause or punctuation at the end of the first line. This technique creates a sense of continuity and flow between the lines.
A caesura (derived from the Latin caes?ra, meaning "to cut") is a pause or interruption in poetry or music. The opposite of a caesura, where a line of poetry continues in flow from one line to the next, is called an enjambment.
All sentences are supposed to be complete sentences, which is observed as a rule in almost all literary productions. But lines in a poem sometimes won't be complete sentences, which won't kill the charm of those lines either, if the poet is talented in his art.
The term for when lines rhyme with the lines after them is known as "enjambment." Enjambment occurs when a sentence or phrase in poetry does not end with the line break, but instead carries over to the next line. This technique is often used to create a sense of continuity and flow in the poem, as well as to subvert traditional rhyme schemes.
