All humans are creative by nature because they were created in the image and likeness of Him who created all things out of nothing - Genesis 1:26-27. Evolutionary theory cannot supply an adequate answer as to why we create, not merely out of practical necessity but because it is deeply satisfying to our nature, whether we produce a chair, a cake or a piece of music.
