The international society approach emphasizes shared values and norms among states, leading to cooperation and peaceful coexistence. However, critics argue that it downplays power disparities and conflicts of interest between states, making it less effective in addressing complex global challenges. Overall, its acceptability varies depending on the context and the perspectives of different actors in international relations.
