well every one can speak the language that they want not just English , Spanish , French etc.

ADDED: There have been attempts to establish common languages, such as the artificial Esperanto, but none really made much progress. The main languages in the World now, by population but not necessarily in number order, are Chinese, various forms of Spanish, and English (mainly the US dialect).

Having everyone speak the same language in the world could facilitate communication and understanding on a global scale. However, diversity in languages is also important as it represents cultural heritage and helps preserve unique identities. Finding a balance that promotes multilingualism while ensuring effective communication is key.

Should there be English only laws?

No because that in itself is discriminatory toward those who do not speak English. It is like saying you can't come to America unless you speak English. How can the world unite with one another if we are forcing everyone to speak one language? How can culture thrive with only one language spoken? Individual cultures can't thrive if their native languages are abolished and they are forced to speak English. It's blasphemy in my opinion. I speak English, but I value the diversity of the world and the multitude of cultures and languages. It adds this constant challenge of learning something new which is what I thrive for in life.
